Contegiacomo is always looking for new ways to develop inspirational architecture. In this sketchbook study we looked at how light and sound travels in space through a series of intertwining, overlapping sound waves. We found similar structures in anatomical studies of the snake and assimilated these characteristics to architecture. The result is a kinetic building that is adaptable and changeable on many levels. It can expand and contract along its x, y, and z-axis and fix itself comfortably on flat or hilly terrain.
